On the occasion of his departure from Liverpool and return to Real Betis, former Reds goalkeeper Adrian has expressed his extremely high opinion of new manager Jürgen Klopp's successor Julian Sloter in an interview. Adrian revealed that although he is no longer with Liverpool, he remains in close contact with a number of his former teammates and has been told that they are deeply satisfied with Sloter's approach to coaching.

"I speak to many of the Liverpool players almost every day, like Zimicas and Salah." Adrian said in the interview, "They generally say that they really like the footballing philosophy that Sloth brings. This philosophy coincides with the high intensity, directness, fast pace, high pressing and bravery of the Klopp era."

Adrian further pointed out that Liverpool's current squad is constructed based on just such a tactical system, and therefore new coach Sloter will be able to quickly find a tactical path to fit in with his players. "Liverpool's squad was built for this purpose," he emphasized, "so I'm sure Sloter will know how to perfectly combine his tactical philosophy with the team's current players. I wish him every success in his managerial career at Liverpool."
