Bundesliga and German Cup winning club Leverkusen have sold the Iranian international to Dubai Young Nationals. Azmoun, 29, joined Leverkusen from Zenit St. Petersburg two and a half years ago. Last season, he was loaned out to play for Roma.

In his two and a half years with Leverkusen, Azmoun made 44 appearances, scoring five goals and contributing five assists. Despite his mediocre performances in the Bundesliga, he was recognized by many for his professional attitude and technical ability.

As per previous reports, the transfer fee for the deal is 5 million euros. UAE side Dubai Young Nationals have officially announced the deal yesterday. Azmoun's transfer opens a new chapter in his career and he will continue his soccer journey with Dubai Young Nationals.

The departure of Azmoun means that Leverkusen will make a change in their offensive line, and the club may look for a new striker to fill his shoes. In the meantime, Azmoun will be presented with new challenges and opportunities, and fans are looking forward to his performance at his new club.
