United were planning to sell midfielder Kasmiru this summer and Saudi Arabian giants Ainas were said to be planning to sign the 32-year-old Brazilian international, but according to reports in the British media, Ainas have retreated and other Saudi Arabian clubs aren't interested in signing Kasmiru, meaning that he'll continue to play for United in the new season.
In the Premier League last season, Kasmi scored just one goal and two assists in 25 games. The Red Devils have planned to release it for £30 million (about HK$300 million), but European clubs are not interested. In addition, the defenseman's weekly salary is as high as £350,000 (about HK$3.5 million). Based on the current level, I believe only Saudi Arabian teams will offer the first 'fat contract'. According to reports, the Saudi team did have contact with Manchester United, but it did not come to light after the end of the negotiations.
Fabrizio Romano, a reporter for "The Transfer Authority", says that United are eager to sell Casimiru, but they have received no offers from any clubs, and Sky Sports in the UK has stated categorically that Casimiru must stay in the team.
United played two warm up games to start the season and Kasmiru was the right choice for both, I believe Tannhäuser has left the team early.
