Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are mulling over a player swap. Tottenham are set to swap Villa accumulators and Lance for Luszow and £19 million (about HK$190 million), with the deal expected to be completed within a day.
Tottenham Hotspur want to sign 23-year-old midfielder Jaeger and Lance, Villa and the 28-year-old Argentine midfielder who is a vegetarian, according to reports in the British media. These two teams hit it off. Tottenham are prepared to make up the difference for £19m to facilitate the deal.
Jaeger and Lance started 21 times last season, scoring once and assisting twice. Due to injuries, his total playing time was only 1,060 minutes; Luschsu is Tottenham's big backup. He started 24 times last season, scored twice, had few assists, and played 597 minutes. However, he played in the U.S. Nations Cup, which he won. He played five games for Argentina, issuing one assist and two yellow card cautions.
