Former Arsenal shot-stopper Colin Colin decided to give up representing England last year to play for the US national team, winning two titles. In contrast, the 'Three Lions' are still in a 58-year championship drought. As this year's America's nation, Balogun even boasted that with the support of geographical advantage, winning the championship is not a luxury.

Born in New York, USA with Balroggan, Colien moved to England with his family at the age of two and then trained with Arsenal's youth team, representing England U21 and other national teams at all ages. However, when he was promoted to Arsenal he wasn't reused. The 23-year-old striker was loaned to Ligue 1 side Reims in 2022/23, where he scored 21 goals in 37 games, but he never gained the confidence of factory coach Ardida. He was sold to Monaco last summer.

In 2023, a pivotal year for Balogun's relationship, in addition to officially leaving Arsenal, he decided to represent the United States rather than wait for a call-up from the English great nation. He played 13 games for the United States, scoring four goals and helping the team win their second consecutive North and Central American Nations League title.

Balogun scored a goal to help the United States win 2-0 over Bolivia in CONCACAF. Even though there are many strong teams in the Americas, there are also strong teams such as Brazil and Argentina participating in the tournament, and the competition is fiercer than in the North and Central American Nations League. However, the United States has many good players and is competitive: "With the help of our teammates such as Kristian Plessy and Gamo Favia, we have a very strong squad, and with the support of our home fans, our goal is to win the championship". We'll see if Balogun's prediction works out.
