One of the Europa League's most popular rivalries didn't start for France and was plagued by injured soldiers. Both midfielders, Cao Yaveney and Rabiot, are injured and are expected to be unavailable to face Austria in their first group game in Group D. The Digance captain may have to utilize Youssef Koffiner, who is inexperienced in international matches, as the right choice.

Cao Yaveney has been injured since the Europa League quarterfinals against Bayern Munich in early May. According to French newspaper Le Parisien, the hard-hitting 24-year-old midfielder has not recovered and essentially missed the first round of the Europa League group stage. As for Rabiot, who plays for Zuyondas, a muscle injury will also make it difficult for him to play.

There are also doubts as to whether 33-year-old Nikolaj Jandy will be able to cope with the high level of the Europa League after going to Saudi Arabia for dinner. Coach Digans is said to prefer a double defense center with Kamayunga alongside Youssouf Koffin.

The 25-year-old Youssouf Koffinah, who plays for Monaco, made his first promotion to the Grand National in September 2022 and also played in the last World Cup, but mainly as a reserve. Youssouf Koffin is very productive. Even though he has only played 18 games in France, he has already scored three goals. On the other hand, he is also in defense in Nicolou. Jandy played 55 international matches and scored only 2 goals. As you can see, Youssouf Koffing has both offense and defense, that's why he is called 'New Vela', and he is currently just taking advantage of the Frenchman's foot not being in full swing to fight for the top spot.
