Fulham

Already for Manchester United midfielder Scott

McTominay

A second offer was sent, rising from the previous £17 million to £20 million. However, this offer still failed to impress United and it is expected that £25 million will be needed to seal the deal.

McTominay came from the United youth training, although the Red Devils do not want him to leave the team urgently, the manager Ten Hahn said last month that he hoped that McTominay to stay in the team, but due to financial considerations, United do need to sell the player to balance the income and expenditure.

Fulham are still pushing forward with talks and they believe McTominay is willing to take on a new challenge and get consistent playing time. Meanwhile, Fulham are also eyeing Fluminense midfielder Andre, but a £21.1m (€25m) offer has been rejected.

In addition, Galatasaray have also shown interest in McTominay. Although Tottenham Hotspur had approached the Scotland international, the transfer was deemed unrealistic.

McTominay, 27, is currently valued at €32 million in the German transfer market and has one year left on his contract with Manchester United, although United have a one-year extension clause. Last season, McTominay made 43 appearances for United in all competitions, contributing 10 goals and 3 assists.

Fulham's eventual success in bringing in McTominay will depend on their ability to meet United's asking price and the player's own wishes.
