Leave Borussia Dortmund to secure more playing time. Fellkrug is currently considering joining West Ham United, who have offered him a lucrative 3+1 contract.
The media pointed out that West Ham boss Lopetegui admired the German winger so much that West Ham were willing to offer the same salary as Borussia Dortmund, but with a contract twice as long. Although

West Ham means no Champions League or even European football, but Phil Kruger is quite excited about the chance to play in the Premier League.
Fellkruger privately hoped to join AC Milan but has withdrawn from the race due to Milan's difficulties in raising enough money for a permanent transfer. Fellkruger is currently in deep communication with Borussia Dortmund supremo Kyle, as well as discussing with the Nagelsmann coaching staff
future destination
.. The coaching staff advised him to opt for a transfer in order to secure playing time.
Fellkrug shone as a substitute wonderkid in last season's Europa League and sees the 2026 World Cup in the US, Canada and Mexico as the last major goal of his career. Given Dortmund's introduction of Girassi this summer, Fellkrug is concerned that his playing time will be further reduced and is therefore hoping to secure more games through a move in a bid to make the World Cup squad.
For their part, Borussia Dortmund are in no hurry to sell Fellkruger and plan to let him coexist with Girassi. Last year, Dortmund signed Fellkrug from Werder Bremen for €18 million plus bonuses and bid around €30 million for him. However, West Ham's current offer totals around €25 million, including bonuses, and they are unwilling to keep raising the price. If Dort insists on the €30 million asking price, West Ham could turn to Aston Villa's 20-year-old striker Duran.
Phil Kruger, 31, is valued at €15 million on the German transfer market and has two years left on his contract with Borussia Dortmund. Since joining Dortmund, he has contributed 15 goals and 10 assists in 43 games. Both Phil Kruger and the Dortmund hierarchy are facing important decisions regarding his future.
