Fulham's attitude:
Fulham boss Marco Silva said at the end of last season that he hoped Jay would stay in the team for the new season. However, the Evening Standard understands that Fulham FC are now considering sending him out on loan again, provided the right offer is received.
Possibility of leasing out vs. selling:
As well as going out on loan, Fulham have not ruled out the possibility of selling Jay outright. Although this is not the most desired outcome for the club, any sale proceeds would be seen as pure profit, which is attractive to the club considering Jay is a youth player.
