Ligue 1 side Strasbourg will officially announce the loan signing of Chelsea youngster André Santos today local time, according to a new report from renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano. The confirmation of this transfer signals that the 20-year-old Brazilian midfielder will once again step onto the green fields of Strasbourg to continue his path of soccer development.

André Santos moved to Premier League giants Chelsea from Brazilian club Vasco da Gama in the 2023 winter transfer window for a fee of €12.5 million. However, he has not been able to secure consistent appearances in the Chelsea first team for a number of reasons. In order to gain more playing experience, André Santos joined Nottingham Forest and Strasbourg on loan last season. During his loan spell at Strasbourg, he showed a lot of potential and strength and impressed the team.

Now, with another confirmation from Romano, André Santos will officially return to Strasbourg on loan. The deal is expected to be officially announced on Friday, when fans will be able to see the young talent on the Strasbourg pitch once again.

Romano had also emphasized in previous reports that Strasbourg's loan deal for André Santos does not include a buyout right. This means that Chelsea still have the right to recall the youngster in the future or make further transfer moves depending on his development and market value.

Another loan spell for André Santos is certainly a big plus for Strasbourg. His return will add more energy and creativity to the team's midfield, as well as setting an example and motivation for the team's younger players. For André Santos himself, this loan will be an important opportunity for him to grow in his career, and he will continue to refine his skills on the Strasbourg pitch and work towards higher goals in the future.
