Personal terms were agreed. Although both parties have largely confirmed the contractual details, the transfer has not yet been finalized and is still largely subject to United's agreement.

McTominay has been linked with Galatasaray for a few weeks now, with Fulham also showing keen interest in the 27-year-old midfielder. McTominay has reportedly agreed to sign a €5 million-a-year contract with Galatasaray, with the exact number of years and whether it is an after-tax amount yet to be disclosed.

Galatasaray had previously made an offer of €15 million, which was rejected by Manchester United. United's bid for McTominay was around €25 million. According to Sabah, Galatasaray are prepared to increase their offer to €20 million plus add-ons, but it remains to be seen whether that will be enough to impress United.

In addition, Fulham have also shown interest in McTominay, having offered £20 million, which was also rejected. It is reported that McTominay is not too interested in joining Fulham, which could be good news for Galatasaray fans.

Last season, McTominay made 43 appearances for United, scoring 10 goals. His contract with United expires in June 2025, with United having the option to extend it by one year.
