The latest news from renowned soccer journalist Romano shows that two of Manchester United's key targets in the transfer market - De Ligt and Mazrahi - are still firmly waiting for further action from United. The individual agreements between these two players and Manchester United are still valid, and they have both expressed a strong desire to join United.
According to Romano, De Ligt has been looking at Manchester United as his preferred destination since June this year and has turned down offers from other clubs to do so. Similarly, Mazrahi has also started focusing all his attention on United since last week in anticipation of officially becoming a member of the Red Devils.
Rafaela Pimenta, the agent of De Ligt and Mazrahi, has reached an agreement with United on their behalf on a five-year contract that also includes an option to extend it to 2030, which undoubtedly provides the players with more stability for the future.
However, while the agreement between Manchester United and the players is going well, their actual maneuvering in the transfer market has suffered a setback. It was previously reported that United had submitted a packaged offer to Bayern Munich containing De Ligt and Mazlavi, but unfortunately the offer was not recognized by Bayern, leading to a stalemate in the transfer negotiations.
For Manchester United, De Ligt and Mazrahi are undoubtedly their key targets in the summer transfer window. As a young and promising center back with excellent physical and defensive qualities, Derek De Ligt will be able to significantly improve the strength of United's defense. Mazrahi, on the other hand, is a skillful and speedy side defender, whose arrival will inject new vitality into United's side attack and defense.
