The 2007 Asian Cup was a multi-country event. With the exception of the XIV Asian Cup in 2007, which was the first time since its inception that the tournament was hosted by more than one country, the 2007 Asian Cup was co-hosted by Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Viet Nam from South-East Asia.
