The Spanish press recently played an exchange between Real Madrid and Liverpool players. If all success is a big deal then Liverpool will use Alexandre Arnault plus cash in exchange for Real Madrid Lodi Gorgos.
Liverpool have reportedly always considered Lodi Goss to be the ideal successor to Mohamed Sana. They made a bid of 60 million euros (about HK$540 million) for the player, but it was rejected. Earlier, they failed to increase it to €80 million (about HK$680 million).
On the other hand, the box Real Madrid front line is overcrowded. After signing with Kilian McBarbie and Brazilian 18-year-old prodigy Ndik, Lodi Ghose exits backwards in the order of appearance. Real Madrid will not stop Lodigos if he has four more years to ask to leave the team, but the transfer fee is 110 million euros (about HK$935 million).
Liverpool plan to add Alexandre Arnault to the deal as Arnault enters the final year of his deal and Gop's departure leaves his future uncertain. Estimated to be worth 70 million euros (about HK$595 million), Real Madrid, who are looking for Daniel Kahuaji's successor, will be willing to negotiate with Arnott's money in exchange for Lodi Gop.
The Spanish press see the deal as having a chance of being promoted, but the British press see little chance as Arnott is a key member of Liverpool's youth training product and team and is expected to spend resources on a contract extension.
