After the friendly match between Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern utility player Thomas Muller gave an interview to the Korean media, sharing his thoughts on the match, his personal form and his contractual issues.
Speaking about the win, Muller looked quite satisfied, "This was the first game of the pre-season and to get the win was a great start for us. Although we only just returned from the national team a few days ago and were immediately put into intense training, we still need to improve quickly in terms of physical fitness, but being able to win against a strong opponent has definitely injected confidence into our journey for the new season."
Speaking about his personal performance and goals, Müller showed his humility as a team player: "For me personally, the success of the club is always the most important thing. I don't pay too much attention to individual records or achievements, because those are the result of the team's efforts. This season, our primary goal is to win the Bundesliga, which is the common pursuit of all Bayern players. I believe that as long as we are united and work hard, we will be able to achieve this goal."
When asked about his contract, Muller looked very professional and focused: "This is not the time to talk about contracts, we are still in the pre-season phase and need to do our best to prepare for the new season.
