After the friendly match between Bayern Munich and Tottenham Hotspur, Bayern defender Min-Ja Kim was interviewed by the Korean media, sharing his thoughts on the trip to Korea, his interactions with his teammates, and his goals for the new season.

Speaking about his first visit to South Korea with the club, Min-Ja Kim couldn't hide his excitement: "This is the first time in my career that I have had the opportunity to return to South Korea with Bayern, and I am honored and delighted by the overwhelming warmth and welcome we received from the fans here. The whole team and coaching staff had a very enjoyable and memorable time in Korea, and we feel at home."

Talking about the interesting story of arranging a Korean beef dinner for his teammates, Kim Min Jae laughed and said, "My teammates have always been curious about Korean food, especially Korean beef, and they've been urging me to take them there to taste it. Therefore, I specially arranged a barbecue party and they ended up eating it very happily and even enjoyed it more than I expected. Seeing their satisfied faces made me feel very satisfied and happy too."

When asked why he recommended his teammates to eat barbecue instead of fried chicken, Kim Min Jae humorously explained, "Although fried chicken is also very popular in Korea, I was worried that the coaches might not like it too much or think it's not too healthy considering it's a deep-fried food. Grilled meat, on the other hand, is healthier, tastier, and more representative of traditional Korean food culture, so I chose grilled meat as our potluck dish."

Finally, Minja Kim talked about his goals for the new season. He said frankly: "Last season was not particularly satisfying for me, so I have higher expectations and goals for the new season. First of all, of course, I hope to help Bayern win the league title again, which is the common goal of our whole team. For me personally, every time I prepare for a new season, I make it a priority to make sure that I can start in the starting lineup. I believe that only with consistent playing time will I be able to show my strengths and contribute to the team. The next goals I will gradually clarify and adjust over the course of the season."
