According to the Guardian, the EFL is actively looking to

England

new head coach of the national team and agreed to consider hiring the

foreign coach

.. The decision comes after Southgate resigned as manager following this summer's Euros.

A number of coaches, including Tuchel, Mauricio Pochettino, Eddie Howe, Porter and Lee Carsley are currently the favorites to become the new England manager. According to The Guardian, FA CEO Mark Brynham has received approval from nine other FA board members to allow him to contact non-English coaches. Despite some opposition, the proposal to consider hiring a foreign manager was eventually approved by the FA.

The decision increases the chances for non-English coaches such as Tuchel or Pochettino to coach the Three Lions. However, the high salaries that these coaches may demand could also be a challenge for the EFL to face. Currently, Mark Brynham is working with the FA's technical director John McDermott to develop a shortlist of candidates for the new manager, after which interviews will be conducted with candidate coaches and the finalists will be presented to the FA board for approval.

An interim manager is expected to take charge of England's match against Ireland on September 7 as it takes time for a new manager to be appointed. This period will give the FA enough time to carefully consider and select the most suitable new

choice of manager

, with a view to leading England to better results in the future.

England's new manager will have a great deal of responsibility and expectations, and whoever is ultimately chosen will face great challenges and opportunities. Fans are looking forward to seeing the new leader lead the Three Lions to international success.
