At the Miami International Training Facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Wolves Head Coach Gary O'Neil is leading his team through an intense morning training session as they make the final push for the upcoming Premier League match. With three weeks to go until the August 17th match away to Arsenal, O'Neill is already going all out to focus his players and ensure they are in top form when it counts.

O'Neill's training not only focuses on technique and fitness, but also emphasizes the importance of "mindset". He tested his players' team performance and individual attributes in the face of adversity through a special, physically demanding exercise. The exercise divides the players into four groups, in a limited area of high-intensity confrontation, designed to simulate the pressure of the game environment, so that the players learn how to remain calm and efficient under pressure.

Wolves defender Totti Gomez was particularly impressive in this exercise, and his consistency and positive attitude were highly praised by O'Neill. According to O'Neill, Totti's performance was what the team needed, as he was able to quickly adjust his mindset and stay focused in the face of adversity, providing the team with stable support at the back.

On the tactical side, O'Neill is also making positive adjustments. He plans to make the team more aggressive without the ball and to use the four-back formation more often to increase the flexibility and diversity of the offense. At the same time, he is aware of the impact that the addition of new players will have on the team and is trying to help them adapt to the club's tactical system and the rhythm of the game as soon as possible.

Although O'Neill's first season at Wolves was generally well received, the team's decline in form towards the end of the season also showed him room for improvement. He hopes that this pre-season training will not only improve the players' fitness and skill levels, but more importantly develop their mentality and team spirit, so that they are fully prepared for the upcoming Premier League campaign.
