Dormont made history in the Europa League final against Real Madrid when the first Turkish player to win the Europa League title emerged. No Turkish player had tasted the title before that. Coincidentally, both sides were helped by Turks in this year's final. They were Real Madrid rising star Aydar Guna and Dormont midfielder Shariosjan, who would rewrite history.

Previously, five Turkish players took part in the Europa League final, including former Livaguson midfielder Erdirebasduk, former Bayern Munich midfielder Hammy Aiten Top, former Dormont midfielder Nuni Shahian, former UMass Experience midfielder Ada Durun and midfielder Çağan Nugu, who helped Inter Milan to reach the final the last time but all five went through to the title.

Fortunately, both Real Madrid and Dormont have Turkish players in this year's Europa League final, which will surely break their fortunes. As for Aydar Guna and Shariosjan, they can become the first Turkish players in history to win the Europa League. We shall see.
