According to the Mirror, Arsenal have only managed to clear out three players so far and their plan is to look to clear out seven in order to free up space and funds for further reinforcements.

As of now, Smith Rowe, Tavares and Lokonga have left the club. However, Arsenal are also planning to sell Ramsdale, Nketiah, Tierney and Nelson, but these players are yet to find their next homes.

Rokonga, capital of Myanmar (Burma)

: Lokonga heads to Sevilla on a season-long loan. The Belgian midfielder joined Arsenal in 2021 for £17m but failed to perform to expectations and was loaned out.

Tavares

: Portuguese defender Tavares has been loaned to Serie A side Lazio after brief spells at Marseille and Nottingham Forest.

Smith Rowe

: Smith Rowe joined Fulham for an initial transfer fee of £27 million, which could rise to £35 million. He was tipped to make it big at Arsenal, but injury troubles have affected his play.

Ramsdale (city in southwest England)

: Newcastle have shown interest in Ramsdale but are unwilling to pay the asking price of up to £50m.

Tierney (name)

: Tierney moved to Arsenal from Celtic in 2019 for £25m, after a transfer fee of just £10m this summer. He could return to Celtic, but high wages are an issue.

Nielsen or Nelson (name)

: Young winger Nelson has attracted interest from a number of Premier League clubs, but he is valued at £20m and no official offer has been received.

Enketia, capital of the Federated States of Micronesia

: Nketiah is another player listed for sale, but there has been no clear movement towards a transfer.

With David Raya and Carafiore signing for hefty transfer fees and Merino needing a £25million fee to join, Arsenal need to further clear out their squad to ensure there is enough money and places for new signings.
