's first offer failed to meet Nice's demands, but Juve plan to continue to raise their offer in a bid to sign the French defender in the summer transfer window.
Reports claim that Todibo himself wants to join Juventus as soon as possible and that the two sides have agreed on personal terms. However, the negotiations between Nice and Juve remain complicated. Juventus' first offer last week failed to meet Nice's requirements in terms of the type of deal (no mandatory buyout of the loan), transfer fee and floating fee.
For now, Juventus seem to have decided to stay put for the time being, but both sides are expected to continue talks in the coming days. Juve's second offer will be more in line with Nice's expectations, who are reportedly valuing Todibo at €50 million.
The 24-year-old Todibo, who plays as a center back, is currently valued at 35 million euros in the German transfer market and his contract with Nice will last until 2027. Todibo has attracted the attention of several clubs for his excellent defensive ability and on-field performance.
