According to The Independent.

Manchester United Football Club

has rejected Fulham's bid for the midfielder three times.

McTominay

The offer. Manchester United are insisting on a £30million asking price for the youth-born midfielder.

Despite three rejections, Fulham's interest in McTominay remains strong and talks continue with United. United are reportedly looking to sell more players to fund the completion of their targeted reinforcements, with a target of selling five more players.

McTominay is one of the players likely to be sold and the one attracting the most interest. United have bid £25million plus a £5million flotation fee for him, while Fulham's three official offers have come close to that figure. Apart from McTominay, other United players under scrutiny include Sancho, Wan-Bissaka, Casemiro and Lindelof, but their high wages have deterred potential buyers.

The summer window has been slow this year, with Saudi League teams not yet "generous" and many Premier League teams nearing the upper limit of what the league's profit and sustainability rules allow them to spend. This complicates the transfer market.
