Bayern
Munich's first choice for reinforcements at the attacking midfield position remains Leverkusen's young talent Florian
Wirtz (name)
(Florian Wirtz). However, if that deal doesn't work out, Bayern will look to bring in Xavi Simons instead.
Wiltz, one of the most promising young players in Germany, has been a major target for Bayern. However, considering Leverkusen's high asking price for him and other competitive factors, Bayern are also preparing for possible alternatives.
Javi Simmons is currently playing for Paris Saint-Germain and is on loan at PSV Eindhoven. It will be easier for Bayern to bring in Simmons next summer. Eindhoven will no longer be involved in the deal and Simmons only has two years left on his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, which could put Bayern in a more favorable position in the negotiations.
Currently, Bayern's sporting director, Eberl, maintains a good relationship with Simmons, which will undoubtedly help with future transfer negotiations. Simmons has also impressed at Eindhoven and his versatility and creativity make him an ideal replacement option for Bayern to keep an eye on.
