Champions League side Plymouth have officially announced the hiring of famous Manchester United player Ronny as their leader. The two sides have reportedly signed a three-year contract. The 38-year-old was reportedly given the opportunity to return to the Red Devils and join the coaching staff, but in the end they both opted to go to the Champions League to 'hone' their skills.
Since Ronny hung up his boots he has been closely associated with Championship teams. He has been the coach of two Champions League teams in Bishop's County and Birmingham. He has also attempted to return as a coach of American professional team D.C. United. However, England's palace scorers taught the Wave to perform well behind the Kicking Wave. Three coaches have been sacked for poor results, including Birmingham, who he began coaching last October but won only two of his 15 matches. As a result, he took on the burden at the beginning of January this year.
Speaking after Ronnie became Plymouth's leader, he said, "I'd like to thank the club's management for their support, it's another great start to my career. We should help build a strong squad and play magnificent soccer." However, outsiders generally see a weak future for Fade Ronnie, as Plymouth is weak and only ranked fourth in the Champions League this season, with almost no successful defense, and due to Ronnie's past performance, I am afraid that it will be difficult to help the team turn around next season.
