Romano said the two sides have finally finalized an agreement after the deal was first reported back in July. Royce will sign with the LA Galaxy through December 2025 with an extension option in his contract. Royce is scheduled to travel to the United States in the coming days for a medical and to sign his contract.
Reus, 35, is a free agent after his contract with Borussia Dortmund expired this summer. He scored nine goals and contributed 10 assists in 42 games last season and is currently worth around €5 million.
The addition of Royce will undoubtedly bring valuable experience and skill to the LA Galaxy, as the former Borussia Dortmund captain's arrival not only improves the team's strengths, but also adds more attention and anticipation to the USL.
