According to the Daily Telegraph.
West Ham United
is ramping up to bring in a new right back.
Newcastle
Searle's defender Kieran
Trippier.
It's one of their goals.
West Ham United have previously been busy with other transfers, including bringing in Kilman, Somerville, Phil Kruger, Guido Rodriguez and Luis Guilherme, but new boss Lopetegui still needs to fill the void at wing-back.
Manchester United's Wan Bissaka and Southampton's Kyle Walker-Peters have also been considered by West Ham United. Although they are still keeping tabs on both players, no agreement has been reached with either yet.
Newcastle right-back Trippier, 33, is one of the options West Ham United could consider, but it will depend on whether Newcastle will release him. Trippier played with England at this summer's Euros and started six matches. While there have been rumors linking Trippier with a move to a Saudi club, his situation at Newcastle and whether he will enter the transfer market is still up in the air.
Trippier joined Newcastle from Atletico Madrid in 2022 and has regularly captained the team on the pitch since then. His current contract expires in 2025. West Ham United are looking to bring in Trippier to bolster the team's defense in preparation for a competitive new season.
