Kyle Guy was the 55th overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft when the Sacramento Kings traded up to receive the signing and drafted him. During his NBA career, Kyle Guy played two seasons for the Kings and one season with the Miami Heat. In total, he appeared in 53 games, contributing 3.1 points, 1 rebound and 0.9 assists per game.

After retiring from the NBA, Kyle Guy has chosen to return to his alma mater, the University of Virginia, to continue his basketball career and transition into coaching. He will serve as a player development mentor and special assistant, utilizing his experience in the NBA to help college players improve their skills and game.

Kyle Guy said he is looking forward to this new professional challenge and hopes to contribute to the development of the University of Virginia basketball team.
