Club officially announces signing of former Bordeaux player

The 20-year-old French right back will breathe new life into the team.
Due to the relegation of the old French team Bordeaux to the fourth division, several players chose to leave the team for development. Louis Jean joined Athletic Bilbao as a free agent after his contract with Bordeaux expired.
Athletic Bilbao and Yanneco Luizan have reached an agreement on a deal that runs until June 30, 2026, plus a two-year extension option, according to official club news. Last season, Luizan spent time on loan at CD Lugo in the Liga MX, making 20 league and three cup appearances.
The young right back, who has previously been selected for France's national team at all age groups, will add new options and depth to Athletic Bilbao's back line.
