The Premier League side's stalwart LUFC continue to be English! Despite rumors that the 17-year-old star has been plagued by financial irregularities, the buyer remains soft. Chelsea have reportedly reached an agreement with Barclays Premier League side Pomeroys to buy wings Estey and Welian for a total transfer fee worth €65 million. Next April will mark the 17-year-old star's 'coming of age' when he officially joins the club.

After more than a month of negotiations, he finally reached an agreement on Saturday (18) and moved to the authoritative Fabrizio Romero revealed that Chelsea will first pay 40 million euros to Pomeroys, plus 25 million euros in floating bonus terms, for a total transfer fee of 65 million euros, breaking the record of transfer fees for U18 players in South America.

Due to the Premier League's ban on signing contracts with underage players, Estey and Welian must wait until their 18th birthdays next April before they can officially sign their contracts. The contracts are for seven years. Chelsea have spent the past two years exploring the rising stars of the Americas before the signings of Brazilian midfielder Andili Santos, striker Davide Washington and talented Ecuadorian midfielder Paz.
