The Premier League is set to have a game, the 'Battle of the Magic Fairy', to round off the weekend. In my playing days, this game would often have a decisive impact on the championship as these two teams were neck and neck with Chelsea, the team I played for back in the day. While the current situation is clearly different, this game will still have a big impact on the outcome of the championship.
Will Manchester United do their best to go head-to-head with Arsenal? Or will they work hard to prepare for the next English soccer final, giving Arsenal a chance to get close to the same city's enemy, Manchester City?
To be sure, Manchester United feels like a toxic place to be at the moment with the shocking results and performances of the excursion to Crystal Palace. Sadly, some players and even senior professionals in soccer are already unhappy with United leader Tannhäuser and the club.
While I can understand that Manchester United have suffered a lot of injuries this season, especially in key positions in defense, just like a lot of other teams, that's why they've gone crazy at one point lining up 30 different combinations of positives at the back of their lineup this season. But this is Manchester United we're talking about, and when you're wearing its jersey on your back, you need to step up and fight.
Nonetheless, they do need to prepare for the soccer final, so the leaders need to stimulate the players in this game and try to inspire their army spirit on the eve of the final. The players themselves will have to fight for a place in the final.
On the other hand, I've been impressed with Arsenal's bounce back since losing to Aston Villa and Bayern Munich, his personality and performance on the pitch. If this was the Arsenal of the past, it would be easy to think that their season had ended prematurely, but leader Adi Da managed to pick them up and get them back on track quickly, and they are still fighting for their first league title in 20 years.
Looking at the cards, this Arsenal should win the league this season. They have scored the most goals, lost the fewest and won the most games in the Premier League. However, if they don't end up winning the title, they might reflect on the reasons why some of the weaker teams in the season should be able to be beaten. Unfortunately for them, they have lost more points than Manchester City, who could end up winning the title.
However, I don't think the Arsenal will suffer a setback in today's battle. Considering United's low morale and serious injury problems, I think Arsenal will be in a much better position to win today's match and take the title race to today's Evil Section Day.
