Manchester United's poor season has seen one voice after another calling for the sacking of captain Tannhäuser fluctuate up and down. On the eve of the Premier League match against Arsenal, a famous Dutch coach retorted and pointed out that the people who fired him didn't know anything about waves.
Tanhag words, "I've heard some comments that I should be fired. I think the class doesn't have the soccer knowledge, doesn't know what the coaches do, and some of them even do things on purpose, but I think there are a lot of people who see the problem and they're patient."
Despite being in charge of United for two seasons, Tannhäuser is facing the prospect of stepping down, but he insists and regrets leaving Ajax and joining the Red Devils: "I'm enjoying my experience, love the British culture, and I'm happy to have arrived there." United are currently eighth in the Premier League and have already missed out on the next UEFA Europa League, the team's biggest goal for the rest of the season is to hopefully beat Manchester City in the EFL Cup final.
