Plettenberg said on social media that "West Ham are very confident they can cut a deal for Todibo today. Steaden is working hard to reach an agreement in Nice and the plan is to reach a verbal agreement with Todibo today and then fly back to London with the player for a medical."
West Ham have now agreed a deal with Nice, which will be a loan deal with a compulsory purchase option, with Nice set to receive a £40 million fee and a share of the second transfer. Although Juventus are still struggling to sign Todibo, West Ham are hoping to pull off a last-minute swoop.
