UEFA has signed a partnership agreement with Kipsta to manufacture the official balls for the three seasons 2024-2027. UEFA has signed a partnership agreement with Kipsta, which will be responsible for manufacturing the official balls for the two top European tournaments for the three seasons 2024-2027.
Kipsta has previously been the official ball supplier to Ligue 1 and the Belgian league, and this partnership with UEFA marks a further expansion of the brand on the international soccer stage. Guy Epstein, UEFA's Director of Marketing, commented on the partnership: "We are delighted to announce Kipsta as the official supplier of match balls for the first time. We are partners with this innovative, quality and passionate brand."
This week, Kipsta also officially unveiled the official ball design for the 2024-25 UEFA Cup and UEFA Europa League season. The new soccer balls are made up of 12 pieces of fabric, manufactured using heat-sealing technology and seamlessly joined to ensure smoothness and precision. The official UEFA Cup ball is orange, while the UEFA Confederation ball is green, with the two colors representing the distinctive logos of each of the two competitions.
This partnership is not only a major step forward for the Kipsta brand, but also another effort by UEFA to promote the technological advancement of soccer equipment.
