Showing strong interest. The 30-year-old Argentinean goalkeeper has been selected for the Argentinean national team and helped the team win the UEFA Cup last season as Atlanta's starting goalkeeper in the Cup.

Although Fiorentina were previously interested in Musso, they ultimately opted to waive De Gea, and Musso's destination is thus in the spotlight. Sky Sports have revealed that Napoli are considering bringing in Musso, especially with just one year left on his contract with Atalanta, and a deal could be struck in the near future.

Regarding Musso's future, Atalanta boss Gasperini hinted at a possible departure in an interview. He said, "Musso will still start in the UEFA Super Cup because he won us qualification for the Super Cup on the pitch and it was the right choice. But after that we won't rotate the goalkeepers like we did last season and I will have to make a choice, but I'm not alone in making it. I am happy with both goalkeepers, Musso and Kalnezecki, but after the European Super Cup I will have to solve the problem if it persists."

Gasperini's comments suggest that the likelihood of Musso's departure is increasing, especially with Napoli showing interest. Musso's future destination will be a major point of interest in the Serie A summer transfer market as the transfer window progresses.
