According to a new report from The Courier, Roma have made initial contact with Leicester City midfielder Soumare, with the aim of exploring the possibility of bringing in the powerful player. Roma's sporting director, Ghisolfi, has shown strong determination in building the team's lineup, knowing the importance of the midfield to the team, and hopes to further strengthen the De Rossi led midfield lineup by bringing in Soumare.

Gisolfi sees Soumare as an ideal candidate because the player has shown excellent confrontation and defensive prowess on the field. He is able to provide a solid barrier for the team in key areas, effectively blocking opponents' attacks. In addition, Sumaré is also a good passer and organizer, and can contribute to the offensive side of the game while defending.

Soumaré was loaned to Sevilla by Leicester City last season and had a solid La Liga campaign. He made a total of 34 appearances, including 30 starts, fully proving his strength and adaptability. However, with Sevilla unable to afford the €15 million buyout fee, Soumare's future has once again become a hot topic in the transfer market.

The Roma club have made it clear that they are willing to negotiate with Leicester City for that amount in the hope of successfully bringing in Soumare. Meanwhile, clubs such as Monaco have also shown strong interest in Soumare, whom they see as a potential replacement for Youssef Fofana. However, as things stand, Roma are in a more favorable position in the race to bring in Soumare.
