
Brazilian celebrity 'Big Whistle' Ronaldo recently announced that he has sold 90% of his stake in Barclays Premier League's Coats Road to a local businessman. According to reports, the deal has enabled "Big Whistle" to earn US$30 million (about HK$234 million) in the past two years.
After "The Big Whistle" hung up his boots, he went into business and became the class owner of Spanish team Huaradu. at the end of 2021, he purchased 90% of then-CMBA B Coats Road for $80 million and became the class owner of the team.
After running the team for two years, 'Big Whistle' decided to sell. Recently, some buyers were willing to buy 90% of their shares for $120 million and decided to let go.
In total, the 'Big Whistle' bought the team for $80 million dollars in this sale. During this period, they invested 10 million dollars. The team was promoted from Barclays B to Barclays Liga. After more than two years, they sold it for $120 million with a profit of $30 million.
According to 'Big Whistle' Ig sources, the new buyer, Berrien Slaves, is the fifth largest retailer in Brazil, i.e. Coats Road continues to be flooded.
