Arsenal kept their chances of a top-of-the-table bid alive with a 3-0 home win over Neymouth in the first leg of the Premier League on Saturday night (4) thanks to Deglan Rice getting into the Wave for an assist.

Arsenal started the wave with a frantic attack that kept Maui goalkeeper Mike Chavis quite busy. First, a narrow shot from Chavez was saved. Center William Shaliba accidentally rushed into the box for a quick shot and then went to McChaffas. Lee Ando Duchate's follow-up shot was higher and Thomas Birdie's long range shot was also parried by McChaffas. Arsenal's attack followed, with Chavez's header coming back off the post and De Grand Rice's powerful shot just angling in. On the stroke of half time, captain Martin Odegat's straight cross from Xavis was beaten into the box by McChaffas.

After the changeover, Arsenal did not relax. Mike Chawas made a succession of brave saves to bury the goal together with Bucayo Shaka and Xavis. He then managed to counter the thatch and had a fierce shootout with striker Solanki. It was the turn of Arsenal's goalkeeper Laye to save the danger. 70 minutes later, De Grand Rice turned and Lee Ando managed to shoot at the first time in Doo Saudi Arabia. After that, Di Granlais fired a quick shot from a narrow position that ended with Arsenal giving away three eggs.
