More than a month on from the summer Europa League final week midsummer, players' late-season injuries are causing more concern.RB Leipzig announced on Sunday (5) that midfielder Schlaga will miss the Europa League final week with a torn cruciate ligament in his left knee.
On Saturday (4), RB Leipzig beat Hoffenheim 1-1, midfielder Shulaga was injured in the 16th minute, team director Schroda confirmed a torn cruciate ligament in the left knee: "I was shocked by the news, especially Shulaga and the key players of the team, who have been doing a great job this season. They have been fighting for the European countries and the team will fully support them."
The 26-year-old Schlaga have been picked for the league 29 times this year and RB Leipzig have been selected as the heroes of EU qualification for next season. The Austrian national team has played 43 times, including six times in Europe and abroad where he was selected for the Armor. Initially, he was the main captain of the Lancers. A serious injury this year dealt a major blow to the Austrian team.
