Bournemouth, UK

has agreed to transfer team forward Dominique

Solanke

Sold to Tottenham for £65million release fee

Tottenham Hotspur (city in Morocco)

, a deal that would set a record for a sale in Bournemouth's history. Solanke, 26, began his career at Chelsea before joining Liverpool on a free agent in 2017 and moving to Bournemouth in 2019 for £19m.

Solanke was in fine form in the Premier League last season, scoring 19 goals and becoming the team's top scorer. Tottenham and Bournemouth are in talks to finalize the deal and Solanke has agreed personal terms and is desperate to join Spurs.

It's worth noting that Solanke's contract with Bournemouth contains a £65 million release clause which is only valid for certain clubs. If the Heat activate the clause, Liverpool will receive a share of transfer profits of around £9 million, as they retained a 20% share of Solanke's future transfer fee in their original transfer agreement.

The deal not only brought in record revenues for Bournemouth, but also a sizable cut for Liverpool.
