Premier League giants Chelsea winger Sterling has made it to the shortlist of Serie A rivals Juventus for reinforcements, according to the latest reports from transfer expert Di Marzio. Juventus have shown strong interest in bringing in a new winger this summer, having previously been linked with transfer rumors with a number of players including Sancho, Galeano, Pepe, Francisco Conceição and Nicolás González.
However, the latest news from Di Marzio suggests that Juventus have added a new heavyweight to their winger targets - Chelsea's Sterling. The 29-year-old England international had a great season at Chelsea last season, appearing in 43 official matches, including 31 starts, contributing 10 goals and 8 assists, and was an important part of the team's attack.
Sterling's contract with Chelsea doesn't expire until 2027, but Juventus have clearly seen him as an ideal candidate to bolster their side's attack. Despite Sterling's solid position at Chelsea, Juventus may try to convince him to join with a reasonable offer and attractive contract terms.
Sterling is currently valued at €35 million in the German transfer market, which shows his market value as a top winger. If Juventus can successfully introduce Sterling, it will undoubtedly greatly improve the team's attacking ability and overall strength, adding more competitiveness to the Serie A and Champions League next season.
