England midfielder Karamoko Dembele is on the verge of completing his move from Brest to QPR, according to exclusive news from renowned transfer journalist Romano. Romano revealed that both clubs have reached an agreement on the transfer and Dembele will travel to England this weekend for a medical and subsequently complete the signing process.
The deal, which is worth a total of around €3 million, contains a variable bonus clause and a second transfer share clause in addition to the fixed transfer fee. These add-ons were created to incentivize Dembele to continue to excel after joining his new owners, while also preserving some of Brest's financial interest in the transfer market in the future.
Karamoko Dembele, 21, has shown a lot of potential in the early stages of his career. He joined Brest on a free transfer from Scottish giants Celtic in the summer of 2022, but didn't get much of a chance to play in Ligue 1 last season, and instead spent time on loan at Blackpool in England. During his time at Blackpool, Dembele gradually adapted to the pace and style of English soccer and gained some experience in the game.
Queens Park Rangers, as a strong team in the English Football League, has been working hard to improve the strength of the team in recent years, with a view to making a breakthrough in higher level tournaments. The introduction of Karamoko Dembele has undoubtedly injected new vitality and potential into the team's midfield. The addition of Dembele will further enhance QPR's midfield control and attacking threat, adding more possibilities to the team's journey in the new season.
