Liverpool have a long way to go to rebuild Chung, and in order to replace Zul Medibi, who is about full this summer, the latest target is 23-year-old Crystal Palace starlet Mark Gushee.

Mark Gushee was born into youth training at Motorway Rovers, but he never played for the Blues. In the meantime, he went on loan to Swansea and joined Crystal Palace in 2021 for an £18 million transfer fee to officially play in the Premier League.

In the last three seasons, Mark Gushee has scored five goals in 108 games. He is a former England U17 captain and was first selected for the big nations in 2022. So far, he has played nine times for the Three Lions.

Football Insider reportedly has about two years left with Crystal Palace and is worth €38 million (about €319 million) on the transfer market, while Crystal Palace have raised their price for Makgouhi to £55 million (about HK$539 million). Arsenal and Manchester United are both interested in him and have buried Liverpool at home. I'm sure their transfer fees will be more expensive.
