In the 2023/24 season, potential star and Japanese U-20 international soccer player Kouda Sano, who was originally part of the Japanese J2 Okayama Green Pheasants, joined the Dutch First Division during the J2 season. For the outstanding player who excelled in J2 but never had J1 experience, he earned the attention of international scouts through his outstanding performances in the U-20 world.
