Tottenham Hotspur right-hander Udouji announced on social networks on Saturday (21) that he will be shutting down early this season after recently undergoing an operation to root out an injury. The Italian international did not disclose details of the injury, but sources say they will be out for three months, which means they will not be able to play in the European national finals in the summer.

Udouji, 21, is bound to be an option at left wing for Tottenham Hotspur this season and will also be selected for the Italian national team if he performs well. He played 90 minutes in his last seven league games without injury. However, on Saturday, he posted a photo of him in hospital on social networks with the message, "This season's injuries have ended me early, thank you all for your support today."

With Tottenham not playing this week, leader Pusdigolu did not schedule a press conference and the club did not announce Udouji's injury. According to the authoritative journalist Fabrizoio Tottenham expect Udouji to be out for three months, making it difficult to represent Italy in the final week of the Europa League.
