The Western Australian League takes on Adelaide United on Tuesday afternoon. Both sides lost at home to the Waves last weekend. Adelaide United lost at home to FC MacArthur, while Western Union were beaten by visiting top side Mid Coast Mariners.
A-League's young wing Ilan Kwanda will move to Bayern Munich at the end of the season. Despite his record for FC MacArthur, the team lost two consecutive goals and one goal at the end of the game: finally, he still lost 12 yards in extra time. The match was his last home match before he left the team, but unfortunately the result was not as good as it should have been. However, even though the Arab League's hopes of finishing in the top six are now disillusioned, Irangwanda still have three away games to write themselves off. As such, I think his speed and unpredictable positioning in the opposition backfield will pose the biggest threat to the Western Conference.
Western Union also know how dangerous he can be, and that has to do with his hat-trick three weeks ago and helping the Arab League to a 4 win :1 at home.There is no doubt that Western Union have improved of late, but they have lost two of their last three league games. It seems the only thing to do this season is not to fall behind. Although they lost to Mid Coast Mariners 00:2 at home in their last league match, they are doing well by winning their last five matches in front of their home fans.
