There are four teams in a group.There are 24 teams competing in Euro 2024, which are evenly divided into six groups, so each group contains four teams.In the group stage, the teams in each group play a single round-robin, i.e., each team plays one game against each of the other three teams in the same group, and at the end of the group stage, the top two teams and the two best-placed third-placed teams in each group will advance to the knockout stage of the round of 16. After the group stage, the top two teams from each group and the two best-placed third-placed teams will advance to the knockout stage of the round of 16.
