According to Italian journalist Di Marzio, Atalanta need to find a suitable replacement for midfielder Koupmenas before considering letting him go. Juventus have been looking to bring in the Dutch midfielder this summer and Zebrette director Giuntoli is actively pushing for a transfer deal.

However, no significant progress has yet been made on a transfer deal for Koupmenas. Di Marzio noted that the midfielder is yet to take part in Atlanta's training, showing signs that he could leave the club within the transfer window. However, Atlanta have made it clear that they will not let Koupmenas go easily until a replacement is signed.

Atlanta's preferred replacement is Celtic's 23-year-old midfielder O'Reilly. However, talks between Atlanta and Celtic have yet to reach an agreement and they are expected to make a further offer in the coming days. Until a replacement is successfully signed, Koupmenas' transfer situation is not expected to change substantially.
