Jonathan David, full name Jonathan Christian David, born January 14, 2000 in Brooklyn, New York, U.S., is a Canadian soccer player who plays as a center forward/second striker/forward and currently plays for Lille Football Club in the French Ligue 1.
In 2022, Davey played with the Canadian national team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Jonathan Davey started out at the Ottawa Fearless Youth Camp within Canada. After moving to Belgium in 2018 where he made his professional debut with Ghent. Two years later, he joined French side Lille, where he helped win one Ligue 1 title and one Champions League.
Jonathan Davie has been named Canada's Men's Soccer Player of the Year for 2019. Jonathan Davey, from the club in Lille, is currently the provisional top scorer in Ligue 1 with 21 goals, edging out Kylian Mbappe.
