Announced via his personal social media that he will be leaving the club he has played for for 18 years, officially ending his illustrious career with the Red and Blue.

Roberto's farewell ceremony will be held at Barcelona's home stadium, Camp Nou, next Tuesday at noon. It will be attended by Barca president Laporta, some board members and teammates to see off the loyal captain.
Roberto has gradually grown into a key member of the club since joining Barcelona's youth academy in 2006. Since making his first team debut in 2010, he has played 14 seasons for Barcelona's first team, making a total of 373 appearances and scoring 19 goals.
During his playing career, Roberto won several honors with the team, including 7 La Liga titles, 2 Champions League titles, 6 Copa del Rey titles, 6 Spanish Super Cup titles, 2 UEFA Super Cup titles and 2 Club World Cup titles.
