According to noted journalist David Ornstein.

Chelsea

Between Atletico Madrid and the Spanish striker

Omarodion (Asturian: Ummorodion), capital of Asturias in northwest Spain

's transfer broke down over contractual terms. Although the two sides had previously agreed on a transfer fee of £34.5 million (around €40 million), Chelsea failed to agree personal terms with Omorodion, which ultimately led to the deal collapsing.

Omorodion, who is 20 years old and stands at 1 meter 93, had spent last season on loan at Alaves, contributing eight goals and one assist in 34 La Liga appearances. Chelsea were originally planning to sign him on a seven-year contract with a one-year extension option that would run until 2032. However, this plan failed to materialize due to the inability to agree personal terms.

Meanwhile, journalist Marcos Benito revealed that Chelsea will turn to pursue Napoli striker Osmeen. Osmeen has attracted the attention of many giants after his outstanding performance last season, and Chelsea hope to strengthen their attacking line through this transfer.

Furthermore, journalist Romano has also pointed out that while the Omorodion deal may fall apart, Chelsea and Atletico are still looking for a solution with a view to brokering other potential deals, such as the transfers of Gallagher and Alvarez will not be jeopardized.
